Drinking a snowflake

The holiday season is here & so is the peak of winter season. Surviving the chill wouldnt be possible without my hot cup of cafe mocha. Love the coffe
art in my cup always & this one resembles a snow flake.

Spice it up – Masala

image

Hey !! This is the love of my life. Last month my friend gifted me this tupperware spice box and i couldn’t wait to spice it up 😄 …

Let me introduce you to all the spices, clockwise starting with the powder with the spoon : Jeera (Cumin) powder, Dhaniya (Coriander) powder, Jeera Salt (crushed cumin, paprika & salt), red hot dried parika, Bay Leaves & Garam Masala (whole cinnamon, clove, cardamom). And the middle box is called 5 Phoran a mix of 5 different spices.

The benefit of this box is that you can keep your regular spices in it and anytime you are cooking you dont have to open different jars looking for the right one. Dont worry this box is airtight too and keep the fragrance of individual spices intact.

What is your favourite spice?

A Parsi Restaurant – 2

image

And as you go inside the restaurant SODA BOTTLE OPENERWALA it gives you the feel of an old parsi bakery. With hommade cookies, snacks & cakes kept in big glass jars. Aww isnt that like straight out of an old bollywood movie.

Loving it so far.

A Parsi Restaurant

image

A quaint little parsi restaurant SODA BOTTLE OPENERWALA at DLF cyber hub, Gurgaon. The decor made with old furniture, brightly coloured tins & bright yellow bloom makes it so inviting. Parsi’s are a community settled majorly in Maharastra and are a close knit society having their own style of celebrations, lingual, dressing & food. And this little joint does justice to the whole essence.

The food was as good as the setting. Will keep posting more about this food-joint.

Juicy Jumbo Prawns

Last week i tasted these grilled jumbo prawns at Four Seasons Hotel in Mumbai & they were fleshy, sweet, tender & juicy. It wasn’t overcooked; just perfectly grilled plus sauteed with butter, salt and pepper.

Must try if you want to skip carbs tonight.

Bonn appetite.
